5 Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. stew meat or cut up chuck roast
    4 potatoes, quartered
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 (No. 2) can peas (juice and all)
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 can water
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
    Bake at 275\u00b0.
    Stir when half done.
    Keep covered while cooking.
