Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. chopped spring onion
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Saute next 4 ingredients for 5 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add shrimp; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch with water; add and simmer 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and cayenne to taste and simmer 15 more minutes. Serve over steamed rice.
    Serves 6.
