Cold Cherry Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sour pie cherries
    1 stick cinnamon
    3 c. liquid (add water to cherry juice to make)
    1 c. red wine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Drain cherries, reserving juice to make liquid.
    Place liquid in saucepan and add cherries, cinnamon and sugar and simmer gently for 7 minutes.
    Blend flour with 3 tablespoons water until smooth; add 3 tablespoons more water to thin and stir into soup.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Chill.
    Stir in cream and wine when cool.
