Cheesy Chili Rice(Prep: 10 Minutes; Cook: 55 Minutes; Serves 6) - cooking recipe

1 c. long grain converted white rice
2 c. sour cream (1 pt.)
1 (7 oz.) can diced green chilies
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated (about 2 c.)
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook rice according to package directions. In a small bowl mix sour cream and chilies.
In a buttered 1 1/2-quart to 2-quart baking dish alternate layers of cooked rice, Jack cheese and sour cream mixture.
Sprinkle Cheddar cheese evenly over top.
Bake, uncovered, until mixture is bubbly and cheese on top begins to brown, about 35 minutes.
