Tarragon Chicken With Soured Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

2 large whole chicken breasts, skinned and halved
1 c. sour cream with 2 tsp. white vinegar, mixed for 5 minutes
1 small onion, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
1 Tbsp. minced fresh tarragon or 1 tsp. dried
1/4 tsp. crumbled dried sage or 1 tsp. fresh
Preparation

Arrange chicken breasts in a baking dish just large enough to hold them in one layer.
In a bowl, combine sour cream, onion, bell pepper, lemon juice, parsley, tarragon, sage and salt and pepper to taste; spoon the mixture over the chicken and bake the dish in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Serves 4.
