Oven-Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine or vegetable oil
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Wash and pare potatoes; cut each into 4 thick slices.
    Dip slices in butter and arrange in shallow baking pan.
    Cover pan with foil.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove foil; continue to bake about 30 minutes or until delicately brown, turning once. Sprinkle with salt.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
