Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. baking molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, shortening and brown sugar together until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of crumbs for topping.
    Mix warm water, soda, baking molasses and salt by hand (no mixer).
    Mix crumbs to molasses mixture.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Sprinkle the cup of crumbs over the top of the cake mix before baking.
