Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix well both the flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
    With finger, work in the margarine until dough begins to hold together.
    Press onto bottom of greased 9-inch square pan. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes or until firm.
    In medium bowl, lightly beat 1/2 cup brown sugar and eggs; add corn syrup, pecans, melted margarine, vanilla and salt.
    Mix well.
    Pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
    Cut into 3 x 1-inch bars.
