Snickers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German Chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. nuts
    14-oz. bag caramels
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Combine (by hand) cake mix, nuts, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Divide batter in half.
    Put half of the batter in greased pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for six minutes.
    While baking above mixture, melt caramels with remaining 1/3 cup milk.
    When six minutes are up, remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, then add caramel mixture and then the remaining batter.
    Bake 15 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Let cool.
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
