Microwave Acorn Squash With Cranberry Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 small acorn squash
    salt
    8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    8 Tbsp. honey
    1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Wash and dry squash.
    Place in microwave oven.
    Heat, uncovered, on full power 15 minutes or until they feel soft to the touch.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Cut in half and remove seeds.
    Place cut side up in a shallow heat-resistant nonmetallic baking dish. Sprinkle with salt.
    Place 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon honey in each half.
    Heat, uncovered, on full power 4 minutes or until butter has melted.
    With brush or spoon, spread honey-butter mixture over cut surfaces of squash.
    Place a spoonful of cranberry sauce in each squash half.
    Can be returned to reheat on full power 6 minutes or until cranberry sauce is hot.
