Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks
2 c. whole milk
1/4 c. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Separate eggs (use whites in foolproof meringue).
Add 1/2 cup milk, cornstarch and sugar.
Mix thoroughly.
Add mixture while stirring to saucepan containing 1 3/4 cup scalded milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, until very thick.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly until creamy.
