Barbecued Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. chuck roast (2-inches thick)
1 (5 oz.) bottle soy sauce
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. brandy
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Place meat in a large shallow glass dish. Combine soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, brandy and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix well. Pour over meat. Cover and chill for at least 6 hours, turning at least once. Remove meat.
Reserve marinade.
Grill over flame at medium setting 10 to 12 minutes on each side for rare, turning and brushing occasionally with marinade.
Cut across grain for serving.
Makes 6 servings.
