Barley Hot Dish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. barley
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, diced
1 can peas and liquid
1 can tomato paste
1 can tomato soup
1 can water
1 small can mushrooms
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cook barley for 1/2 hour and drain.
Brown ground beef with chopped onion.
Add the green pepper and peas with liquid.
Add the tomato soup and paste with one can of water and the mushrooms. Salt and pepper to taste.
Add the barley (cooked).
Mix all ingredients and bake in covered casserole for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
