Dump Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large crushed pineapple with syrup
1 large pie filling (cherry or your choice)
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 sticks butter, sliced in 1/4-inch pats
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
Preparation

Spread pineapple evenly over bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Spread pie filling over pineapple.
Sift the cake mix over the fruit evenly.
Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Distribute butter pats evenly over the mixture.
Sprinkle brown sugar over all and bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
Serve warm or cold with ice cream or Cool Whip.
