Cheesy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size potatoes, chunked
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small onion, diced
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/4 c. milk
    4 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in enough water to cover them until tender.
    Add remainder of ingredients; stir until cheese melts and soup thickens slightly.
