Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. butter, melted
fresh or canned fruit, sweetened
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients; add milk, egg and fat.
Mix lightly. Arrange fruit in bottom of baking dish.
Spread with butter.
Bake in moderately hot oven (400\u00b0) until brown.
Serve with vanilla, lemon or fruit sauce or cream.
