Cream Of Peanut Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cooked country ham, in slivers
    3 celery stalks
    1/4 c. butter
    1 small onion
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/2 c. chicken broth or from bouillon cubes
    salt, pepper and paprika
    1 c. milk
    1 c. light cream
    1 1/4 c. peanut butter (Jif has best taste)
Preparation
    Brown celery and onion in butter.
    Add flour and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
    Add milk and cream.
    Add ham and peanut butter; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
    Makes approximately 8 cups.
