Quick Coffee Cake(Hungary) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped pitted prunes or apricots or any cooked fruit may be used
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream

Preparation

May substitute peaches for the prunes.
