Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook light brown sugar with milk.
    Boil until it's thin in cold water.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Remove from fire and leave until cold.
    Then beat until creamy.
    If sugar curdles the milk, add a pinch of baking soda.
