Oven Barbecued Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak, cut 3/4-inch thick
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut steak into 10 equal portions.
    Pour oil into skillet.
    Brown each piece of steak.
    Transfer to a roasting pan.
    Add onions to oil in the skillet and brown lightly. Add the rest of the ingredients to make a barbecue sauce and stir and simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour the sauce over the steaks in the pan. Cover.
    Bake 2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
    (Baste meat occasionally with sauce in pan.)
