Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oatmeal
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    6 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook oatmeal in 2 cups water for a minute.
    Add molasses, salt, butter and sugar.
    Mix well and cool until lukewarm; add yeast that has been dissolved in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
    Pour over flour.
    Mix well and knead.
    Cover and let rise until doubled.
    Knead and mold into 2 loaves.
    Let rise until doubled. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Brush crust with butter after you remove from pan.
    Cool and wrap airtight.
    Freezes good.
