Kartoflane Kluski(Potato Dumplings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1 to 2 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 egg yolks
    1 to 2 c. flour
    pinch of marjoram
    2 egg whites
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
    Roll out dough on floured board to pencil thickness. Cut into 2-inch strips and drop into boiling, salted water.
    When they float to the top, they are done.
    Arrange on platter and garnish with chopped, crisp bacon.
