Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 or 3 carrots, diced
    2 celery stalks, diced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. half and half or evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 or 5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Cook vegetables.
    Save a little water.
    Mix cream cheese and cream of chicken soup; add to vegetables with the half and half or evaporated milk.
    Add the parsley and butter and heat through. Add bacon on top.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
