Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks oleo
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 box powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt oleo; mix oleo, flour and nuts.
    Pat in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, then cool.
    Let cream cheese stand at room temperature until soft.
    Mix ingredients until all powdered sugar is blended into Cool Whip and cheese.
    Top with a can of cherry pie filling.
