Corn Meal Mush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. yellow corn meal
    2 Tbsp. wheat bran (add fiber to your diet and browns better when you fry it)
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. cold water
    6 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Add cold water and mix.
    Add butter and hot water.
    Boil 5 minutes, then turn heat on low. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat and pour in 6 x 9 1/2-inch cake pan.
    When cold, slice and fry or eat it hot with brown sugar and milk.
