Spinach And Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 clove minced garlic (optional)
1/4 c. minced onion (optional)
pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine and set aside spinach and cheese.
Combine rest of ingredients and add the spinach and cheese mix.
Blend well.
Stir into butter in pan.
Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 1-inch squares.
Serve warm.
