Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1/2 green pepper (optional)
    6 large carrots (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Shred vegetables.
    Sprinkle with salt; let stand 1 hour. Drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
    Boil for 3 minutes; cool.
    Stir well into cabbage.
    Let stand 3 minutes. Freeze in containers.
