Chicken Soup With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    3 medium onions
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Rinse chicken and place in a large cooking pot 3/4 full of water.
    Cut onions to desired size.
    Place in water with chicken. Add salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil, then simmer on medium for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove chicken and let cool to touch.
    Strip meat and place back in soup.
    Let simmer on low.
