New Orleans Chicken Tureen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chicken breasts
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth (bouillon cubes)
    1 c. or 1/2 pt. sherry
    1 c. sliced mushrooms (8 oz. can), drained and rinsed
    1 to 2 sticks margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chicken.
    Brown chicken in margarine.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.
    Bone chicken and serve with rice (cook in electric skillet).
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
