Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pt. fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Combine sugar, jello and cornstarch.
    Heat 1 cup of water in saucepan and pour sugar mixture in the water, stirring as you pour.
    When mixture is thick and smooth, remove from heat and cool completely.
    Line baked pie shell with strawberries and pour cooked mixture over berries.
    Chill and cover with Cool Whip.
