Caramel Chex Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Rice Chex
    1 box Corn Chex
    1 box Crispix
    1 box raisins
    2 bags pecan halves
    1 bag shredded coconut
    1 lb. margarine
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix and divide first 6 ingredients into 2 large paper grocery bags.
    Bring to a boil the rest of ingredients, except vanilla, and simmer 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla.
    Pour into the grocery bags and toss until well coated. Fold the top down of the bag and heat in microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Remove and shake the bag, cook another 1 1/2 minutes, then repeat the process again.
    Do the same with the other bag.
    I spread this mixture out onto the counter to cool.
    If you don't have a microwave, heat in 200\u00b0 oven on large cookie sheets for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
