Old Fashioned Cornmeal Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened (no substitute)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 unbaked pie shells
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add corn syrup, milk and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Fold in cornmeal and flour.
    Pour into pastry shells.
    Bake for 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0.
    Bake 20 minutes longer or until pie tests done.
