Mossledge Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small yeast cake
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. warm water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Crumble yeast in mixing bowl; add salt, sugar, water and beaten egg.
    Stir in 2 cups flour; stir until smooth.
    Stir in melted Spry or shortening; add rest of flour.
    Mix well.
    Let rise once, then shape like Parker House rolls.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
