Berried Treasures - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 c. canned whole cranberry sauce
    1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, onion, egg and seasoning.
    Wet hands and form balls the size of walnuts.
    Place in a 2-quart casserole. Combine cranberry sauce with chili sauce and pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Baste after 1 hour.
    Cover again and bake an additional 30 minutes. Can be made the day before to improve flavor.
    Serve warm with toothpicks.
    Makes 3 dozen.
