Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick pork chops
    2/3 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 can corn
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Trim fat from pork chops.
    Fry out fat in a large skillet. Brown chops slowly in fat; remove from skillet.
    Pour out excess fat.
    Spread rice over bottom of skillet; add water.
    Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Arrange chops over rice; sprinkle with remaining salt.
