Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted margarine
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 large pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
Preparation

Mix together pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar and put into 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Cool.
Mix together cream cheese, sugar (1 cup) and Cool Whip and put on top of pretzel mix.
Make sure edges are sealed to keep crust from becoming soggy.
Dissolve jello in water and stir in strawberries.
Cool 10 minutes in refrigerator.
Pour over cream cheese second layer and chill until firm.
