Mrs. Parrish'S Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

4 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 475\u00b0.
Beat eggs and sugar together.
Scald milk and butter.
Pour custard into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg (use 10-inch pie shell).
Bake 13 to 14 minutes (no longer).
