Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
10 to 12 egg whites (1 1/4 c.)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together flour and 1/2 cup sugar.
Beat eggs and salt until frothy.
Add cream of tartar to whites; beat until stiff but not dry.
Gradually add 1 cup sugar at low speed, scraping sides of bowl often.
At low speed add vanilla and flour and sugar mixture until blended.
Pour into ungreased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
Invert pan until cake is cold.
