State Fair Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 pkg. yeast
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. milk (warm)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients together.
    Mix milk, sugar, oil and eggs and add to dry mix.
    Add all ingredients together and beat thoroughly.
    Place dough in a greased bowl.
    Cover and chill. Knead dough and roll out and cut.
    Let rise 30 minutes.
    Fry in hot grease until brown.
