Chicken Liver Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 container chicken livers
    1 onion (optional)
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    flour
    salt and pepper
    Mrs. Dash
    garlic
    sour cream
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    In an iron skillet, fry liver slightly.
    Do not overfry.
    (Mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt in a bowl).
    Roll chicken livers until covered; then fry.
    Add onion until tender (chopped). After hot and onions are tender, add 1 can drained mushrooms. Heat until hot; sprinkle flour into mixture and stir as if you're making gravy.
    Add Mrs. Dash.
    While hot, stir in hot water until smooth and thick.
    Add more water, if too thick.
    Simmer about 15 minutes.
    Serve on rice or toast, or by itself.
