Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk to make a stiff dough.
    Roll out on floured board 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut into 2-inch strips.
    Drop into boiling chicken broth. Cook until dumplngs are tender.
    (Cook, covered, then uncover.)
