Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 egg
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
1/2 onion, diced
2 Tbsp. lemon pepper
1 Tbsp. salt

Preparation

Stir ingredients together.
Mix until mixture is a stiff consistency.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep fryer or pan about half full of hot oil.
Cook until Hush Puppies float and turn a golden brown.
