Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped (approximately 1/2 c.)
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 (8 oz.) jar salsa
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimentos, drained (optional)
    6 corn tortillas, cut into 1-inch strips
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or mix Cheddar and Monterey Jack
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown. Drain.
    Add taco seasoning as per package.
    Spread 1/2 cup of salsa in bottom of ungreased square baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Mix remaining salsa, sour cream, soup and pimentos.
    Layer half of tortilla strips, beef mixture, soup mixture and cheese all on salsa.
    Then repeat.
