Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (14 oz.) can green chilies or Ro-Tel tomatoes with chilies
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 can hominy, undrained
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 can pinto beans with juice
    1 can Ranch Style beans
    1 can corn (whole kernel), undrained
    6 c. water (more or less)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion; drain.
    Add green chilies or Ro-Tel tomatoes.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Add a clove of garlic, if you want.
    Serve with corn bread.
