Aunt May'S Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped cabbage
    2 c. chopped green tomatoes
    3 red peppers
    6 green peppers
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Grind onion, cabbage, green tomatoes, red peppers and green peppers together and cover with salt and let stand for 2 hours. Drain.
    Add sugar, celery, mustard seed, turmeric, vinegar and water.
    Heat this all to boiling point and boil for 3 minutes. Pack in jars and seal.
