English Pea Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can tiny English peas
1 can seasoned French green beans
2 cans water chestnuts, chipped
1 medium onion, cut in rings
1 bell pepper, chipped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar (can use half wine vinegar)
1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation

Heat together sugar, vinegar and salad oil.
Pour over drained vegetables.
Marinate overnight in refrigerator.
Serves 10 to 12.
