Wedding Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
    5 mashed bananas
    3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water.
    Cool.
    Put bananas in blender.
    Add 1 cup pineapple juice.
    Blend until smooth.
    Mix bananas with remaining juices.
    Freeze overnight in 3 equal containers. When serving, partly thaw juice and add 1 bottle ginger ale per container.
    Serves 50.
