Apple Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. raw apples, chopped
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 tsp. cinnamon
nuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients of flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Fold in apples and pour into a 9 X 13 pan. Mix brown sugar, margarine, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
