Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. yellow cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 small onion, grated
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 (No. 3) can cream-style corn
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in order, except cheese.
Pour half of the batter in a greased baking pan, then layer with half the cheese.
Add remaining batter.
Cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
Makes 8 servings.
