Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. shrimp, deveined
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    2 1/2 c. cooked rice
    3 Tbsp. cooking fat or oil
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and seasonings in fat or oil until transparent. Add tomato sauce and shrimp to that mixture. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
